If you go to your waxing appointment and your "waxer" double dips, waxes without gloves or doesn't store tweezers and scissors in some sort of antibacterial device...head for the door!
Wax is NOT hot enough to kill bacteria! The temperature needed to kill bacteria is 212 degrees F for 30 minutes. Wax at that temp would burn your skin!
